The Role

As our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will take the lead as the technical head of SimXity. This is more than a role—it’s the opportunity to set the technological strategy from the ground up, architect secure solutions, and grow a world-class development team. Together, we will revolutionize how aviation crews learn, certify, and operate.

Responsibilities

• Tech Strategy & Oversight: Define and own the technological vision of SimXity.

• Secure Architectures: Design complex and secure system landscapes with integrations to legacy systems.

• AI Integration: Drive the adoption of AI across all products to make training smarter and more efficient.

• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing development team to ensure excellent implementation quality.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Proven background in the aviation industry.

• 15+ years of experience as a Solution Architect (SAP, Oracle, Google environments).

• Expertise in SAP BTP and UI5, backed by certifications.

• Strong skills in ABAP, PHP, and React.

• SaaS business model experience.

• STEM degree with documented advanced training.

• Startup experience and ability to thrive in high-growth environments.

• Willingness for international travel (trade shows, clients, partners).

Nice-to-have:

• Research experience (Fraunhofer, Helmholtz Center, or academic teaching/research).

• Foreign language skills (English required; Russian or Chinese highly valuable).
