In this module, youβll learn how fires start, the different fire classes, how smoke behaves, and how to detect fire at an early stage. This knowledge forms the foundation for safe and effective action in an emergency.
Welcome to Module B!
Here, youβll learn more about real fire progressions, dangerous scenarios like flashovers or battery fires, and how fire alarm systems function in an emergency.
Youβll also learn how to recognize hazardous situations early and assess them correctly.
Welcome to Module C!
This module explains who takes on which responsibilities in the event of an emergency.
Youβll learn about the roles of fire protection officers, fire wardens, and the importance of the fire alarm chain.
Welcome to Module D!
Now itβs time to get practical!
In this module, youβll learn how to behave correctly in the event of a fire, what to keep in mind when using fire extinguishers, how to identify escape routes β and how to act safely and effectively without putting yourself at risk.

In this module, the focus is on on-board fire fighting equipment. You will get to know different extinguishing agents and devices, as well as their correct use.
